Player-Friendly Course Designed by Charles Maddox
The course opened in 1971 on land donated by Seth B. Atwood. The large stone family homestead has been remodeled and serves as the Clubhouse and Pro Shop. The course was designed by Charles Maddox to present a variety of golf alternatives so that golfers may select the tees most appropriate for their ability.
Black: yards 7431, slope 130, rating 74.9
Blue: yards 6672, slope 122, rating 71.4
White: yards 6151, slope 116, rating 69.0
Gold: yards 5464, slope 109, rating 65.9 / Women slope 118, rating 70.8
The opening hole requires an accurate tee shot through a towering tree line. A ball positioned in the middle to right side of the fairway offers the perfect angle into a large green complex.
